Vaibhav Marathe

I am a Sound Designer, Re-Recording Mixing Engineer with more than eight years of experience in films, OTT, television, commercials, audiobooks, game sound design, and music production. I started my career as an assistant sound engineer and progressed to handling independent creative and technical assignments, working on projects for platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and Sony LIV. A significant highlight of my career was receiving the Best Foley Engineer award (IRAA 2024) for Scam 2003 – The Telgi Story, which recognized not only my attention to detail but also my dedication to making sound feel natural and authentic. Throughout my journey, I have worked on dialogue editing, foley, sound design, and mixing assignments under tight broadcast deadlines and high client expectations. One of my biggest learnings has been finding the right balance between creative quality, fast-paced delivery timelines, and ever-evolving industry standards, while continuously upgrading my technical expertise and transitioning into freelancing with a stronger focus on both creative excellence and business growth.
