I came into films not as a filmmaker, but as an enthusiast. Movies for me, began as an escape, and became a passion. The way an actor can bring so many emotions to the surface, portraying another human being, and invoking emotional responses from others is so beautiful to me and once I started to learn more about how films work and how they are put together, it has only fascinated me more. I’ve always had an interest for filmmaking ever since I got my hands on a camera and saw the magic of filmmaking and ever since I found that filmmaking was the best way to express myself. I believe filmmaking is an amazing, unique form of art. And whenever I watch films, I pay close attention to camera angles, sound design, and lighting. I try to use them as a tool to improve my own work and as an emerging filmmaker, I hope to continue to tell stories, improve my craft, grow, reach people with my work and express my creativity. I have continued to write and produce my own short films, experimenting with different filming techniques and setting up scenes. Soon after my Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media, I started working as an Associate Producer on projects as well as a Second Assistant Director on sets with CUTTING EDGE PICTURES. Walter a short film, is a portrait of a troubled, emotionally-complex man who is very reserved and delusional. He is in a mental asylum and struggles to deal with the tragic loss of his son.
